We would like to kick it off with a recipe that the Mall Manager loves to make for his family.
This is his version of a dish titled "Chicken Supreme"
Ingredients:
1 package thin sliced chicken (4 to 6 slices)
1 - package of bacon
1 - can cream of chicken soup
1 - can cream of mushroom soup
1 - 16oz. Sour Cream
1 - bag dried beef or 1/4lb sliced dried beef
1 or 2 bags of 10 minute white rice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Using an 8 1/2 x 11 inch glass baking dish, break up and spread the dried beef on the bottom of the pan. Wrap each slice of chicken with 1 slice of bacon and place on top of dried beef in baking dish. In separate bowl, mix the sour cream, can of cream of chicken soup, and can of cream of mushroom soup together. Once thoroughly mixed, spread on top of bacon wrapped chicken in baking dish. Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 45 minutes or until done. Once cooked, carefully mix sauce on top of chicken.
Cook white rice for 10 minutes or as labeled on box towards the end of the cooking time of the chicken. Spread 1 serving size portion of rice on plate(s) and place each piece of chicken on top of rice along with some additional sauce.
He also likes to serve this with green beans and he adds some of the sauce on top of them. They taste almost like a green bean casserole.
